Human rights calls to open an investigation and take measures following the transport of a patient on a coffin in Azilal – Al Yaoum 24

The Federation of the Women's Rights League in the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region issued a statement condemning the shocking incident documented by a video showing a sick woman being transported on a coffin intended for the dead to reach an ambulance in the commune of Ait Tamlil, Azilal province.
The Federation considered that this painful incident reflects the recurring reality of women's suffering in remote areas in Morocco, as a result of marginalization, poor health services, and the lack of transport.
The Federation confirmed that the incident is not an isolated case, but rather an example of the gap between declared policies on the one hand and daily reality on the other.
