The city of Tetouan will host, from May 29 to 31, the Mediterranean Forum of Visual Arts, at the initiative of the Moroccan Observatory of Image and Media (OMIM).
This meeting, organised in partnership with the urban commune of Tetouan, the National Institute of Fine Arts, and the delegation of the Ministry of Culture, will be punctuated by the organisation of an exhibition that will bring together artists of very varied styles around the theme "bodies and faces", and an open-air workshop presented by Amid El Haddad and Mustapha Ben Lahmar, indicates a press release from the Observatory.
On the menu of this cultural event is also the organisation of open-air workshops on comics and watercolours under the theme "The old Medina as human heritage", a national seminar under the theme "Creation and identity in plastic art", which will be hosted by Mohamed Ahouari, with the participation of Abdelkrim El Ouazani, Ahmed Fassi, Mohamed Jaamati, and Abderafia Gueddali, in addition to the screening of films on video art.
Also, a vibrant tribute will be paid to the artist and creator Saad Ben Seffaj.
