The 1st educational orientation meeting on engineering professions began on Saturday in Tetouan, with the objective of allowing education and training establishments to open up to their professional and economic environment.

This scientific event, organised as part of the partnership between the Higher School of Engineering Sciences and Technologies and the Regional Academy of Education and Training of the Tangier-Tetouan region, aims to allow students to learn about management and engineering professions, while offering them orientation advice, in order to establish the principle of equal opportunities in the matter.

This meeting also aims to promote coordination between the different fields of education, training and employment, support orientation paths and develop educational orientation tools, to help students better choose their course of study.

The objectives of this event are in line with the provisions of the National Charter for Education and Training aimed at strengthening students' skills, in order to allow them to integrate easily into professional life and accompany the economic and social changes that the Kingdom is experiencing.

This meeting also aims to value human capital and strengthen students' personal skills and cognitive knowledge, in a way that promotes their contribution to the development process at the local and national levels.

On the programme for this event are presentations given by architects on the mechanisms of the personal study project, in order to allow learners to plan their school and professional paths, as well as to learn about the different engineering professions, so that they can develop their human skills, know the professions of the future and benefit from the expertise of economic actors and professionals in this field.
