Informed sources revealed that the President of the Tangier Communal Council, Mounir Laymouri, has been placed in police custody, against the backdrop of the judicial investigation opened regarding the electoral papers related to the polling center at Al-Quds School in the city of Tangier.
The decision of the Public Prosecutor to refer Laymouri to the investigation and draw up police custody minutes comes, according to the same sources, after completing the field and technical investigations that previously resulted in the arrest of the heads of two polling stations, their deputies, and another individual.
