Through its three Hilton hotels: Tangier establishes itself as a leading MICE destination

The Hilton Al Houara, in particular, has established itself as a model of eco-responsibility, with a reduction of nearly 23% in its CO2 emissions and sustainable practices integrated into every event. Tangier is strengthening its positioning as a platform for hosting major professional events, at the crossroads of continents. As the establishment's management specifies in a press release: "Thanks to its strategic geographical location, its modern infrastructure, its proximity to the Kingdom's economic and administrative centres via the Al Boraq TGV, and the richness of its natural environment between sea and mountain, the city is now establishing itself as a major MICE destination in the north of Morocco". At the heart of this dynamic, the three Hilton hotels in Tangier, namely Hilton Garden Inn Tangier City Center, Hilton Tangier City Center Hotel & Residences, and Hilton Tangier Al Houara Resort & Spa, offer an integrated, flexible, and sustainable MICE platform, meeting the needs of national and international companies, institutions, and event organisers. Located a few metres from the TGV station, facing the Atlantic Ocean, the Hilton Garden Inn Tangier City Center is an ideal base for inter-city meetings and operational seminars. It has 3 meeting rooms for up to 250 people, a floor dedicated to events for more privacy, rooms with sea views, and a Garden Grille & Bar restaurant. The hotel also benefits from direct proximity to the shopping centre and the port. "This hotel is a key asset for fast-paced events, inter-regional committees, commercial meetings, or professional training, with simplified logistics and optimal connectivity," notes the same source. In the heart of Tangier's business district, the Hilton Tangier City Center also offers versatile event infrastructure, designed to host large-scale corporate events with a large plenary room divisible into 3 spaces, a panoramic boardroom with a sea view, breakout rooms, spaces for premium breaks, and advanced audiovisual equipment and high-speed Wi-Fi. "Ideal for executive conferences, AGMs, management committees, and economic forums, the establishment combines operational performance and hotel prestige, in an elegant and professional environment," highlights the same source. Located 15 minutes from Tangier International Airport, by the sea and in the heart of a preserved estate, the Hilton Tangier Al Houara Resort & Spa is the reference establishment for large-scale events, immersive incentives, and international gatherings with 4,500 m² of event space (up to 1,400 participants), 2 ballrooms, meeting rooms and breakout lounges, private beach access, 18-hole golf course, Eforea spa, 4 restaurants, and dedicated shuttles, family apartments, and kids' clubs. "Thanks to its 'bleisure' (business + leisure) offer, its high-level sports infrastructure, and its event flexibility, this resort allows for the creation of memorable and unifying experiences for employees, partners, or VIP clients," specifies the same press release. Thus, the three Hilton hotels in Tangier are fully committed to a sustainable development approach via the group's Travel with Purpose programme. The Hilton Al Houara, in particular, has established itself as a model of eco-responsibility, with a reduction of nearly 23% in its CO2 emissions and sustainable practices integrated into every event. In a context where Tangier is preparing to host major international sporting events, notably the 2025 AFCON and matches as part of the 2030 World Cup, the city's MICE infrastructure — supported by Hilton — is positioning itself as a strategic pillar of the Kingdom's influence on the international scene. Thanks to the complementarity of the three establishments, the Hilton brand offers Tangier a bespoke, interconnected, multi-format, and rigorously managed MICE solution. Whether it is to organise a multi-site event, a hybrid convention, a sustainable incentive, or a large-scale forum, Hilton Tangier meets the highest standards of the corporate sector.
