Some 504 projects, with an estimated total cost of 300.8 million dirhams (MDH), were completed during the 2006-2014 period in the city of Salé, as part of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).
These include 184 projects, with a budget of 146 million dirhams dedicated to the fight against social exclusion in urban areas, 262 projects costing 75 million dirhams under the horizontal programme, 51 projects with an investment of 75 million dirhams allocated to the fight against precariousness, in addition to 7 projects worth 4.8 million dirhams dedicated to the fight against poverty in rural areas, according to data made public by the social action division of the Salé prefecture.
Launched in various socio-economic, cultural and sporting fields, these projects have benefited nearly 318,000 people, the same source highlights, noting that as part of strengthening the capacities of the city's associative fabric, communication meetings and training sessions were organised for the benefit of 4,000 people.
These meetings dealt in particular with the procedures of the National Initiative for Human Development, project monitoring and evaluation techniques, as well as the statutes and legal texts governing associations.
