Increase of 2.67% in airport traffic during the 1st quarter of 2015

Passenger traffic at Fes-Saïss airport recorded an increase of 2.67% during the first quarter of 2015 compared to the same period in 2014, according to statistics from the National Airports Office (ONDA). A total of 183,973 travellers passed through Fes-Saïss airport during the first three months of 2015, against 179,182 passengers during the same period of the previous year, specifies the ONDA.At the national level, commercial passenger traffic recorded a decrease of 0.52% during the 1st quarter of the current year compared to the same period of the previous year. Regarding the ranking of commercial air traffic by zone, Fes-Saïss airport still occupies the 4th position after those of Casablanca-Mohammed V, Marrakech-Ménara, and Agadir-Al Massira.The new terminal of Fes-Saïss airport, intended to increase the annual reception capacity of the airport to 2.5 million passengers, will soon…
