More than 500 cases of food poisoning have been recorded over the last three months, "without generally causing great concern," the Minister of Health indicated on Tuesday in Rabat. Of the cases identified, 300 occurred in three public spaces, namely a school in El Hajeb, a holiday camp in Saidia, and a snack-restaurant in Souk Larbaa, specified the minister, who was responding to an oral question in the House of Councillors. The Ministry of Health is working to prevent the risks of food poisoning by constantly ensuring the monitoring of recorded cases, the care of patients, and the implementation of awareness-raising actions. According to statistics, cases of food poisoning are mainly due to poor hygiene conditions and are often reported following the consumption of fast food.
