At Douar El Haj, located in the commune of Oulad Hcine in El Jadida, one name is on everyone's lips. It is that of the douar's mokaddem. According to a complaint filed with local authorities by members of the Al Wahda dairy cooperative, the latter is accused of obstruction of justice in a case of document forgery and embezzlement.
According to a letter addressed to the governor of the province, of which Libé has a copy, the affair broke out when members of the cooperative realised by chance that the mokaddem of their douar had concealed summonses that had been addressed to them on January 4 by the First President of the El Jadida Court of Appeal.
A version that would be confirmed by the testimony of the cheikh of the douar in question, who certified that this auxiliary of authority had indeed received the said summonses on December 30, 2011. Remarks that would be denied by the said mokaddem, who first denied the fact before retracting after the intervention of the Caïd, who forced him to hand over the summonses to the interested parties. A task he immediately carried out, but which revealed another irregularity, since the said summonses had been hidden at the home of the president of the cooperative, who is being sued by the members of the latter in a case of forgery of minutes, breach of trust, and squandering of the cooperative's assets.
For the plaintiff party, the illegal act committed by the mokaddem is explained by the fact that he attempted to obstruct the investigation initiated by the First President of the Court of Appeal following numerous complaints regarding the behaviour of the investigating judge in the dispute relating to the cooperative.
According to the members of the cooperative, they were subjected to pressure from the khalifa and certain parties aimed at stifling the case.
