The city of Ouarzazate is in the top 10 cities in the world where hotels offer the best value for money, according to a ranking that has just been published by the hotel price comparison site trivago.fr.

Ouarzazate is ranked 7th among the 100 destinations in the world whose hotel industry offers the best value for money. This is an achievement when one knows the competition from Asian countries which offer very cheap rates, indicates the ranking.

Ouarzazate's performance is explained by its affordable price as well as the excellent quality of its hotels. Thus, travellers who have stayed in this city "seem very satisfied with the hotels, which have an overall rating of 81/100, a rating well above that of Agadir, for example, which is 76/100".

Indeed, the average price of a hotel night in a standard double room in Ouarzazate is 61 euros against an average of 102 euros for the same service in Marrakech.

This ranking was established on the basis of an analysis of hotel rates and customer satisfaction in more than 5,000 cities around the world.

It also takes into account prices from 200 booking sites and more than 140 million traveller ratings.
