The city regains its festival starting 1 August

After some hit-or-miss editions, or even unexplained eclipses during certain years, the Mohammedia Festival is back starting 1 August with a programme that prioritises diversity and youth. This festival, which coincides with the celebration of two major national events, namely the Throne and Youth festivals, is designed to generate all-out animation in the city through artistic and sporting entertainment, as well as actions in the social and environmental fields. For the organisers, it is a matter of preserving, thanks to this event, the cultural, artistic, and environmental heritage of the city, creating spaces conducive to exchange and dialogue, and involving young people and confronting them with issues that affect society and the environment. In the musical programming of the event, which takes the lion's share, the organisers have planned two stages, one at the Centre beach of Mohammedia and the other in the neighbouring urban commune, Aïn Harrouda.
