About Mohammedia
Mohammedia (Arabic: المØÙ…دية, transcription: Al-Mohammadiya), formerly called Fédala, is a town in Morocco located between Rabat and Casablanca, in the Grand Casablanca region. It houses Morocco's main refinery, the Samir. Also found in its suburbs is the country's largest thermal power station, which largely supplies the Grand Casablanca region. It also hosts the kingdom's main oil port, which supplies the Samir.
