In a statement to the MAP, Mr. Benyahya stressed that these three projects, namely: a social centre for mothers and children, a social centre for the elderly, and a socio-commercial complex for the support of fish sellers, differ in their objectives according to the beneficiary social categories but converge in the noble dimension of the value of solidarity.

The social centre for mothers and children aims to enable women, particularly those in situations of social precariousness, to improve their skills, particularly through training in income-generating trades and social assistance, he affirmed.

The second social centre dedicated to the elderly has the objective, according to the Director of Communication of the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, of protecting this precarious social category by ensuring medical assistance and social support for the beneficiaries, in order to facilitate their integration into the social fabric.

As for the socio-commercial complex for the support of fish sellers, it intervenes within the framework of the successful experience undertaken by the Foundation for the benefit of this category of society, through in particular the similar centres already operational in M'diq, Fnideq, and Agadir, which have made it possible to improve the working conditions of fish sellers and to ensure them a stable income.

The social centre for mothers and children costing 2.8 million DH, the social centre for the elderly (7.8 million DH), and the socio-commercial complex for the support of fish sellers (7.9 million DH) were financed by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity with financial support from the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).
