Bourita holds talks with his counterparts from Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso
The ministerial coordination meeting on the international initiative of H.M. King Mohammed VI to facilitate access for Sahel countries to the Atlantic Ocean, which is being held this Saturday in Marrakech, is seeing the participation of an important delegation from Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso and Chad.

The meeting was marked on Saturday morning by bilateral meetings between the ministers. Thus, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita, held talks with his Malian counterpart, Abdoulaye Diop. A second meeting took place between Mr. Bourita and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Niger, Bakary Yaou Sangaré.

Mr. Bourita subsequently held one-on-one talks with the Minister in charge of Foreign Affairs of Burkina Faso, Jean-Marie Karamogo Traoré.

It should be noted that the International Initiative of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, to facilitate access for Sahel States to the Atlantic Ocean, comes as a continuation of the constant efforts deployed by the Kingdom of Morocco, under the enlightened leadership of the Sovereign, to build Africa into a continent of prosperity, within the framework of South-South cooperation based on a win-win partnership. It offers unprecedented potential to provide adapted solutions to strengthen regional integration and cooperation, the structural transformation of the economies of these brotherly countries and the improvement of the living conditions of the Sahel-Saharan population, within the framework of an innovative and integrated approach promoting the stability and security of the region.
