Held under the aegis of the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, this two-day meeting aims to exchange views on the challenges and prospects of the telecommunications sector, while exploring the latest technological advancements in this field.
This forum also serves as an opportunity to highlight Morocco's commitment, as one of the founding members of Arabsat, through its active participation in boards of directors and by hosting several general assemblies of this organization.
The program for this edition includes several sessions bringing together experts to debate the evolution of satellite services and technological innovations, particularly artificial intelligence, with a view to improving the quality of services offered by Arabsat.
Created in 1976 by the member states of the Arab League, Arabsat provides broadcasting for more than 500 television channels, 200 radio stations, and two pay-TV bouquets, as well as a wide range of high-definition channels, reaching tens of millions of households in more than 80 countries across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
Arabsat, which has more than 170 million viewers in the MENA region, is the only satellite operator in the Middle East to offer a full range of telecommunications, broadcasting, and broadband connectivity services thanks to its expanding fleet.
The proceedings of the 16th Forum of the Arab Satellite Communications Organization "Arabsat" opened on Tuesday in Marrakech, with the participation of owners and managers of Arab and international broadcasting channels, as well as global experts and partners of the organization.
