Témara winner of the ultimate edition

The final of this ultimate edition therefore took place on the pitch of the Kénitra municipal stadium in front of empty stands. It saw Union Témara get the better of Mouloudia d'Oujda (2-1), two teams that finished the season in the middle of the Elite 2 table. Let us recall that MCO and UST had reached the final after respectively knocking out Youssoufia de Berrechid (1-1 and 3 p 1) and Raja de Béni Mellal (2-1). And as chance would have it, it was Hassan Oughni, future coach of Mouloudia d'Oujda, who beat his future team in the final. Set up by the former competitions commission of the FRMF, this Challenge Espoir never had the expected success nor achieved the objectives set by its initiators. The latter wanted this competition to be the revealer of future talents. But, shunned by most clubs, the tournament ended up dying. Launched in 2010, the Challenge Espoir had consecrated Moghreb de Tétouan during its first edition. But the exception of the 2011-2012 and 2013-2014 champions of Morocco only confirmed the sad rule: the clubs found no interest in participating in this tournament. The calendar and the hazards of programming ended up irremediably condemning this competition. Even the website of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation shunned the competition and published neither the venue of the final nor the result. This is to say that the new Federal Bureau was in a hurry to get rid of it!
