On the occasion of International Earth Day, the Parents' Association of the Honoré de Balzac school group (APEK) recently organised, in collaboration with the administration of the Balzac school group (GSU Balzac), a green day under the theme "Let's build the planet of the future." This event, with its pedagogical, festive, and playful aspects, was an opportunity to inform and raise awareness, among both young and old, about the crucial issue of the environment and sustainable development.

Denis Renard, president of APEK, did not fail to recall the importance of consolidating ecological consciousness and sustainable development in minds and to draw the public's attention. Several activities and animations were organised during this day when the weather was fine. Invited to this awareness day were representatives of the Ministry of the Environment, the Regional Directorates of Handicrafts, and Water and Forests and the Fight against Desertification, the National Committee for the Prevention of Traffic Accidents (CNPAC), the Alaouite Organisation for the Protection of the Blind of Morocco (OAPAM), the Association for a Better Life (AMVIM), the National Centre for Energy, Sciences and Nuclear Techniques (CNESTEN), the Association of Life and Earth Sciences Teachers (AESVT), the Moroccan Association for Ecotourism and Nature Protection of the Ifrane region (AMEPN), the Moroccan Red Crescent, as well as parents and students.
