The prize-giving ceremony for the winners of the 9th edition of the "Ready for the Future" program intended to facilitate the insertion of graduates of university establishments into active life, via workshops on trades, simulation, and professional situation, took place recently in Agadir.

The five winners of the innovative projects competition, originating from several higher education establishments under the Ibn Zohr University (UIZ), were awarded at the end of a caravan started last February, in the form of workshops and training intended to initiate the beneficiaries to the techniques of project assembly, instill in them the entrepreneurial culture, and encourage the most qualified among them to embark on the adventure of investment.

The said winners proposed projects ranging from the production and marketing of organic products to the creation of a transport services website, through the processing and marketing of products derived from prickly pears, the creation of a home services company, or even beekeeping.

This edition was also marked by the presentation of trophies for innovative projects consisting, among other things, of the manufacture of a honey harvesting machine and the setting up of a livestock feed production device.

The project leaders benefited from training modules in business plan development with the supervision of socio-economic operators and partners of the University, notably the CRI, the Center for Young Leaders, the Souss-Massa-Draa Initiative Association, the CGEM Souss-Massa-Draa, and the Social Development Agency.

Besides a tribute to a group of actors who accompanied this program, the closing ceremony was punctuated by the organization of a conference-debate on "Support networks: incubation, sponsorship, and development funds, stakes and methods of application," moderated by a galaxy of institutional speakers and economic operators of the region.

"Ready for the Future" is an initiative of the Faculty of Legal, Economic, and Social Sciences, under the Ibn Zohr University, in partnership with the socio-economic operators of the Souss-Massa-Draa region.
