During our life, there are days when our childhood memories come to the surface as if to remind us of the good and bad moments we spent with friends, comrades, or family during our youth. This moment seems to have come for Hassan El Fad who tells us about his childhood through his new show whose title reminds us of a well-known neighbourhood for Casablancais: «Ain Sebâa».
The prodigy comedian and stand-up specialist will give four performances of his new comedy show, from 1 to 4 August next, at the Studio des Arts Vivants in Casablanca.
«In this new autobiographical show, Hassan El Fad tells of his childhood in the Ain Sebâa neighbourhood through hilarious anecdotes. The artist takes his audience from situation to situation, combining the funny with the improbable to retrace a journey rich in encounters and events », summarise the promoters of these evenings which promise to be very hilarious. And undoubtedly rich in discoveries.
For the public, it is both an opportunity to know more, certainly with humour, about what the childhood of their idol was, but also to dive into his universe made of humour and laughter of the artist.
At 50, it's not too early, one would be tempted to say. But, after the great success of his first two shows, «Ninja» and «Docteur Escargot», one can understand that the favourite comedian of Moroccans took all his time to offer his fans and humour lovers a show worthy of the image he has built for himself since his first show. A rather positive image given the esteem he arouses around him and the respect shown to him by many observers as well as his fellow comedians including the very famous and comic Gad El Maleh.
Once again, one can believe that the enfant terrible of Moroccan humour will return to the stage to really cheer us up. As he knows very well how to do, and with very funny words and stories, one can bet that this new show will make emulators among an audience that is only waiting for that. A Casablancais public fond of humour and who does not miss an opportunity to burst out laughing. Especially when it comes from a child of a certain neighbourhood: Ain Sebâa.
It is not fortuitous if it is said of him that he has a follow-up in his ideas. So true is it that Hassan intelligently handles words well and does not do lace when it comes to making the public laugh. With him, there is no half-measure when it comes to humour. Those who have already had the opportunity to attend one of his shows can testify: With «Ninja» very special alias «Docteur Escargot», one laughs to death.
Born in Casablanca in 1962, Hassan El Fad joined the Conservatory in 1979 and became interested in theatre. «He obtained his baccalaureate in 1983 in plastic arts. Then, he obtained his artistic pedagogue diploma to become a teacher and resumed his Arabic drama courses. Thirsty for knowledge, he will continue French drama, music, and dance courses », according to the show's organisers' press release.
