This meeting, which was recently chaired by the Governor of the province, Fouad Hajji, falls within the framework of implementing the High Royal Instructions aimed at mobilising all logistical means and human resources, in order to provide support and assistance to citizens to face the cold wave experienced by several regions of the Kingdom.
In a speech on the occasion, the Governor of the province called on all relevant parties to intensify efforts aimed at providing support and assistance to the target population, by taking all proactive measures and procedures, and mobilising the necessary logistical means and human resources to make this national operation a success.
Mr. Hajji recalled the preparation of a regional plan targeting 12 Douars in the communes of N'Kob and Tazarine, with the adoption of initiatives mainly related to road maintenance, providing food aid to target families, counting and monitoring the health status of pregnant women, and distributing blankets and firewood for the benefit of educational institutions located in areas most exposed to the cold wave, with the aim of mitigating its effects on the affected populations.
In this regard, the Governor stressed the importance of coordinating the efforts of all stakeholders and mobilising the necessary human and logistical resources, calling for the intensification of measures and ensuring the protection of the population from the repercussions of the cold wave.
It is worth noting that in implementation of the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the services of the Ministry of the Interior, along with all relevant ministries and departments and various actors, have mobilised to take emergency measures concerning the comprehensive mobilisation of all logistical means and human resources, with the aim of providing support and assistance to citizens so they can face the cold wave experienced by several regions of the Kingdom.
