The idea of making this 52-minute documentary on this region came for reasons that go together: I went there and I found many things there from the lightest to the deepest so quickly, I wanted to try to give back to this region a little of what it had given me... so the idea of making a solidarity documentary where I would show what I was able to see there arrived.

Solidarity because it is about finding the sum necessary for the whole construction chain, filming and editing (1 week of scouting, 3 weeks of filming, 4 weeks of editing) and being able to do it without going through a production company. The choice to try to set up this project via crossfunding is that this way we will be able to make a film that will not have to bear all the constraints of a production company with the cost that goes with it. A production company takes a percentage during and after on sales, that is not the goal of this solidarity project.

Solidarity, also and above all, because it is about making a documentary that has as its goal to be sold to television channels internationally, and whose total sum of sales will be donated entirely to a local development aid association with which I have a partnership. This association is the Horizons association, it has existed since 2007 in Zagora.

What is planned to be done with the sum collected after the sale of the documentary.

To a women's cooperative in Amzrou provide them with all the equipment they need, as much for the cooperative as for the daycare they manage, because they work without many means currently.

Create 5 websites for associations, museums, and small businesses that just have the means to live but not to invest in a site while if the site existed, they would have the possibility to try to develop their activities.

Help with the restoration of the Ksar of Amzrou and its mosque

In this documentary I will use 2 ways of filming, first the classic one, camera on the shoulder, when I walk in the streets of Zagora, Amzrou, and Tamgroute to go to meet the people I came to see, then once I have met these people I am looking for, I will use another way of filming, closer to fiction, for the reports of about 5 minutes that I will do on each one.
