Advocacy in Tétouan for the participation of civil society in local governance
Speakers at a meeting on "Urban planning law and issues related to the organisation of the urban domain: what local governance?" called on Friday in Tétouan for strengthening the participation of civil society in local governance. In this context, they stressed the need to adopt new integrated approaches to territorial management, to involve various local actors in the analysis of the reality of urbanisation, and to ensure an alignment between urban planning schemes and the needs of the local population, in order to address the social problems of urbanisation.
