First edition of the Trail Atlas Tafraout: On your marks, get set, health!

A Trail Atlas Tafraout has been born at the initiative of the Issafarne Association for Health and Development. This half-marathon, which will be held from 21 to 23 February 2013 in the Tafraout region (Tiznit province), will be under the aegis of the Royal Moroccan Ski and Mountain Federation and the technical direction of a nationally and internationally renowned athlete, Lahcen Ahansal."Sport at the service of health" is the theme of the first edition of the Trail Atlas Tafraout, which aspires to promote health through sport. As indicated by Dr. Brahim El Wafi, president of the Issafarne Association, "this sporting event will be accompanied by a medical prevention campaign against smoking, high blood pressure, and diabetes."
