Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences of Settat: Seminar on the Rule of Law and security

A seminar on the Rule of Law and security was organised on Saturday at the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences of Settat with the participation of academics, experts, and student-researchers of the Master's in Security Sciences and Risk Management (MSGR).The speakers during the work of this seminar, initiated by the MSGR in collaboration with the Settat Faculty, notably attempted to understand the concepts of the Rule of Law and security and reviewed their foundations as well as the hierarchy of their norms. They also highlighted the evolution of the security field, in relation to public policies, and its adaptation to social and technological changes.The challenge of democracy, they noted, is becoming crucial and calls more than ever for staying the course regarding the respect for freedoms and the maintenance of public order in the Rule of Law.
