The commune of Sebt Gzoula under the Safi province harbors a problematic context on several levels, notably in the ecological field.
To this effect, associative actors have just sounded the alarm in order to draw attention to the major problem of liquid sanitation which risks having health repercussions.
Stench, puddles of wastewater, and the risk of pollution of the water table are the alarming aspects of this ecological and health problem that has lasted for several decades.
"Located in a strategic zone and possessing real economic potential, the commune of Sebt Gzoula suffers above all from a governance problem which, in the absence of any political or economic visibility, accentuates its isolation and dependence," regretted an USFP militant in Safi.
According to associative and political actors of the region, the commune will only be opened up when it removes certain families who have had a stranglehold on the management of local affairs for several years.
