The beneficiaries come from different organisations of the associative body of the surrounding cities of Salé and Salé Al Jadida.

The UIR Power Club, in close collaboration with the Sports office, is organising a sports day for the benefit of children from three associations in the city of Salé: The Socio-Educational Centre of Salé Al Jadida, The Moroccan League for the Protection of Childhood, and the Popular Relief Association of Salé.

Indeed, more than 150 children are benefiting today, 1 April, from this sports tournament which aims to "take them out of their daily living environment". On the programme: several fun outdoor activities.

"We hope that this event will be the beginning of a long collaboration between the student body of the International University of Rabat, and the associative body of the surrounding cities of Salé and Salé Al Jadida, which will undoubtedly accelerate the social development and flourishing of the region," indicates the UIR in a press release.

The University also takes this opportunity to express its encouragement and "salute the students for an initiative of this kind".
