Under the Honorary Presidency of Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Meryem, the Bouregreg Association is organising the 8th edition of the International Festival of Children's Folklore "Children of Peace", from 17 to 24 August 2014.

Delegations of 500 children from countries in the Arab and Muslim world, Europe, Asia, America, and Africa will take part in the 8th edition of the International Festival of Children's Folklore (FIFE), which will be held from 17 to 24 August in Salé, according to the organisers. Initiated by the Bouregreg Association, this Festival is intended to be a place for meetings and exchanges between children from all continents, of different religions and cultures, so that they can absorb the culture of peace and tolerance, and to encourage symbiosis between peoples. A total of 22 countries have confirmed their participation in this edition, which is held under the honorary presidency of HRH Princess Lalla Meryem, indicated the Festival director, Abderrahmane Rwijel, on Tuesday in Salé during a press conference.
