McDonald’s is expanding its restaurant locations. The choice fell on the city of Salé to host the 30th restaurant of the American franchise. "Boasting a remarkable geographical location, in the heart of the Bouregreg valley and on the Atlantic coast, this new restaurant is part of one of the flagship components of the major development project of the Bouregreg valley", indicated McDonald’s officials during the opening of this new restaurant on Wednesday, 16 April. Built on an area of 5,400m2, McDonald’s Bouregreg offers a new experience to fast-food enthusiasts. "Fitting perfectly into the urban environment of the city of Salé, 40% of the total land area is occupied by the restaurant's terrace and green spaces, thus highlighting the surrounding landscape of the Bouregreg valley", we learned. With an investment of 46 million dirhams, the new premises align with the innovative spirit of McDonald’s: free parking, Full Kitchen, birthday room, RonaldGymClub, unlimited Wi-Fi, and McDrive Dual Lane. The architectural aspect of the new unit meets the most elaborate ecological standards. "The McDonald’s Bouregreg restaurant attaches particular importance to its natural environment, with equipment that promotes respect for nature and sustainable development", the officials emphasised.

The green space is intended to be an essential component of this new restaurant. "Outside, numerous varieties of trees, plants, and flowers blend harmoniously to create an elegant garden where families and friends can spend good times. The trees and palm trees offer refreshing shade for vehicles parked in the car park, which is laid out in such a way as to ensure fluid car traffic around the restaurant and to highlight the outdoor green spaces", they specified.
