The Confederation of African Students and Trainees in Morocco is organising, from 2 to 9 April in Rabat, the 34th edition of the Cultural and Sports Week of the African Student in Morocco, on the theme of "South-South cooperation: The exemplarity of Morocco on the scale of the African continent".
This event is intended to be a space for meetings, fraternity, and conviviality, essential for the large foreign student community in Morocco (approximately 11,000 foreign students) and an annual event that allows students from more than 80 brotherly and friendly countries, including about forty African countries, to discover and appreciate African culture in all its diversity, indicates a statement from the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation. This event is part of the extra-university activities initiated by and for foreign students training in public establishments across the university cities of the Kingdom and is placed under the patronage of the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation, the statement adds. Organised during the spring holidays, this event will include a series of cultural, social, and sporting activities, including volleyball and football tournaments, as well as dance, poetry, and singing performances, the same source specifies.
