The 11th edition of the Tourism Assises opened its proceedings on Monday in Rabat, to take stock of the progress of Vision 2020, which aims to continue making the sector one of the engines of Morocco's economic, social, and cultural development. The opening session took place in the presence of the Head of Government and several ministers, high-level foreign personalities, such as the Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), and national and foreign sector operators.Organised by the Ministry of Tourism and the National Tourism Confederation, the 11th Tourism Assises aim to take stock of the progress of Vision 2020 and the main achievements during the last four years.
