6th edition of the Women's Victory Race: Mohamed Timoumi honoured

On the occasion of the 6th edition of the Women's Victory Race scheduled for this Sunday, 12 May in Rabat, the "Woman, Achievements and Values" association has decided to dedicate its annual tribute to Mohamed Timoumi, a great footballer of the 90s. He thus succeeds illustrious athletes to whom tributes have been paid in previous editions.

The meeting point is therefore Sunday at the entrance to the trial gardens in Rabat, on Victory Avenue. The start will be given at 10 o'clock sharp. This 6th edition will be organised under the banner "Sport for All". During a press conference held on Tuesday at the Wilaya of Rabat-Salé-Zemmour-Zaër, in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and former Moroccan athletics champions, the president of the "Woman, Achievements and Values" association, Nezha Bidouane, reviewed the balance sheet of the association's activities and achievements over the past five years in various fields: social, sporting, and educational at the local and national levels, as well as its programme for the coming months, which covers the entire national territory. The former double world champion (1997 and 2001) also stressed that this event aims to raise awareness among Moroccan women of the importance of practising sport as a tool for social and professional integration and to encourage them to join the national sports movement in general and to contribute particularly to the development of women's sport.
