‘’Grassroots Agadir 2011’’: The pleasure of playing football
As part of its efforts to develop grassroots football and football practice among children in the Souss region, the Souss Football League has begun implementing the Grassroots programme in the region for the months of May and June 2011. Grassroots is a collaborative project between FIFA, the FRMF, and the Souss League. ‘’Grassroots Agadir 2011’’ involves a total of 197 participating teams, 2,758 children, and 197 educators and chaperones. Children from four geographical zones are therefore benefiting from this programme dedicated to grassroots football: Agadir (73 teams, 1,022 players, 73 educators), Inezgane (96 teams, 1,344 players, 96 educators), Oulad Teïma (16 teams, 224 players, 16 educators), and Tiznit (12 teams, 168 players, 12 educators).
