The Dar Dmana Foundation in Ouazzane has launched the first edition of the Dar Dmana prize for best environmental practices. The deadline for participation is set between 1 May and 30 May. The jury will proceed to the study of application files and field visits for the examination of initiatives. This initiative aims to contribute to the valorisation of the urban and environmental sector, to create healthy competitiveness between members and neighbourhood associations to undertake environmental initiatives, and to encourage best practices aimed at the protection of the environment and the dissemination of the culture of citizen participation and the noble values of volunteering, indicates a statement from the Dar Dmana Foundation. Organised in coordination with the Provincial Council of Ouazzane, the Communal Council of Ouazzane, and neighbourhood associations, the Environmental Initiative prize aims to encourage collective action with a view to protecting the environment and guaranteeing the balance between development and the environment and authenticating the principles and methods of modern management in order to resolve conflicts hindering the realisation of sustainable development.
