The National Ahwach Arts Festival of Ouarzazate aims to contribute to the preservation of popular intangible heritage, ensuring its renewal, authenticity, and the diversity of its styles of expression.
The festival is part of the efforts to promote the region's tourism product and is also an opportunity to reflect on the intellectual, artistic, and connotative dimensions of Ahwach arts. (This event was previously known as the Ouarzazate Ahwach Festival).
