Marrakech Airshow 2026: Signing of a partnership agreement between Royal Air Maroc and Boeing

Aeronautics: A partnership agreement was signed, Thursday, between Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and the American aeronautical manufacturer Boeing, on the sidelines of the 8th edition of the Marrakech Airshow, which is held from October 7 to 10, at the Royal Air Force Air Base in Marrakech. Signed by the regional president of Boeing, in charge of the Middle East and North Africa, Fahad Al Mheiri, and Naoual Ait Hammou, director of the air operations division of RAM, this agreement concerns the renewal of the cabins of seven B787-8 type aircraft acquired by the national company in new condition between 2015 and 2018. This operation aims to upgrade the interior spaces of these aircraft in order to further improve travel conditions on board these machines, while aligning them with the high comfort standards that characterize the long-haul aircraft recently integrated into the company's fleet. These seven aircraft are part of the RAM's long-haul fleet, which includes six other Boeing 787-9 type aircraft. This long-haul fleet provides air links over long distances, connecting the company's hub in Casablanca to distant destinations and major international metropolises, notably in North America, such as Los Angeles and New York, in South America, such as São Paulo, as well as in Asia, in Beijing.
