American stealth "F-35" fighters fly over the skies of Marrakech in celebration of 250 years of Moroccan-American relations – Today 24

The United States of America announced its participation in the eighth edition of the Marrakech International Airshow "Marrakech Airshow 2026", hosted by the Royal Air Force base in Marrakech, during the period from October 7 to 10, through an air show of its advanced stealth fighters of the "F-35A Lightning II" model, alongside other military aircraft, in a step that reflects the level of military and security cooperation between Rabat and Washington.
An American press release, issued Tuesday, October 6, 2026, stated that the American participation will include about 45 members of the armed forces, as well as a demonstration flight of two "F-35A" fighters, belonging to the 48th Fighter Wing, based at Lakenheath Air Base in the United Kingdom.
