A Moroccan medical mission at the bedside of Mauritanians
A Moroccan medical mission from the cardiovascular surgery department at the Mohammed VI University Hospital in Marrakech is carrying out, from June 6 to 9, 2014, surgical operations at the service of the National Cardiology Centre (CNC) at the Cheikh Zayed Hospital in Nouakchott. Professor Drissi Boumzebra, president of the association of professors of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Marrakech, explained that the team he supervises, composed of 5 specialist doctors, intends to perform nearly 10 "open-heart" surgical operations, in collaboration with a Mauritanian medical team, for the benefit of needy patients and urgent cases.
