A regional communication caravan was recently launched to promote the "Ilayki" guarantee product dedicated to supporting female entrepreneurship, as well as other guarantee and co-financing mechanisms offered by the Caisse Centrale de Garantie (CCG). This communication caravan was launched last March as part of a memorandum of understanding concluded between the CCG and the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Morocco (AFEM), a CCG statement indicates.

The first information meeting, organised on 31 May by the AFEM delegation in Marrakech in partnership with the CCG for the benefit of female entrepreneurs in the region, was an opportunity to present the new "Ilayki" guarantee instrument intended to encourage the creation of very small enterprises (VSEs) promoted exclusively by women.

During this meeting, the CCG presented other guarantee and co-financing products adapted to the company's life cycle and its needs, particularly for operations and strengthening equity, the same source specifies.

The CCG also stressed the need to strengthen business support and provide the necessary information on tools for accessing financing.

The "Ilayki" product is a preferential guarantee of 80% on bank loans dedicated to business creation projects with an amount not exceeding 1 million dirhams. The implementation of this incentive guarantee instrument, based on a gender approach, aims to give a new impetus to the banking sector to enable it to develop a specific offer dedicated to businesses promoted by women.

The next stops for the communication caravan are scheduled for Fez, El Jadida, Rabat, Tangier, and Meknes respectively.
