The Young Entrepreneur Forum will take place on May 16 and 17, 2013. Well before this date, the Young Entrepreneur Foundation (FJE) decided to provide a preview. During a press lunch held for the occasion, Rida Lamrini, President of the said foundation, unveiled the forum's program while launching a call for synergy to all those of good will who believe in Moroccan youth.
All voices are rising to say the same thing: Moroccan youth are in need of recognition.
At present, this youth, as emancipated, independent, and competent as they may be, often find themselves facing a truth that is none other than the absence of a clear vision regarding their future. It is in this sense that this edition of the Young Entrepreneur Forum intervenes, which will be a crossroads of ideas and a reminder of the fact that it is important to offer concrete perspectives to Moroccan youth, particularly regarding the promotion of entrepreneurship within this category.
While it is customary to often associate "youth entrepreneurship" with small projects they set up in cities, it must be said that rural areas, although economically marginalized, are no less concerned by these entrepreneurial actions. Moreover, the theme chosen for the forum this year is: "Youth entrepreneurship: focus on rural areas." For Rida Lamrini, "entrepreneurship is a problem in itself." He insists on the importance of awareness of the scale of the issue in rural areas, which he describes as the "poor relation of job creation." According to him, "rural areas are, in fact, less well-off in terms of support structures for entrepreneurs and job creation." He would indeed not be wrong to launch a call for reflection that will be followed by concrete acts of relocation of resources, both in the distribution of structures intended to support job creation and in the allocation and distribution of resources to project leaders. To do this, there is no question for the organizers of this forum to make it a platform for grievances.
"Success models will be presented there in order to be inspired by them and implemented in all regions where the need for job creation is felt. The scientific program is tailored to prove it," explains Rida Lamrini, not without ambition. This forum will indeed offer, in addition to exhibition spaces, two days of very rich scientific conferences with an introductory session provided by Mohamed Chafiki from the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Christian Averous, an OECD expert.
