New design for the tourist circuit in Marrakech: Craftsmanship and artisans in the spotlight

The Ministry of Craftsmanship, in collaboration with the Agency for Partnership for Progress (APP) and with the support of local authorities and elected officials, organised a kick-off workshop last Tuesday marking the official launch of the project for the "creation and promotion of tourist circuits integrating craftsmanship" in Marrakech. Part of a programme funded by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and executed by the Department of Craftsmanship, this project aims to strengthen the image of the Medina as an exceptional attraction for the city's cultural destination. It consists, on the one hand, of installing signage panels designed to explain, interpret, and guide visitors throughout the tourist circuits, and on the other, of promoting artisanal products.
