The Municipal Council of Ksar El Kébir approved, on Thursday, during its first ordinary session for the month of May, a financing and implementation agreement for the urban upgrading programme of the city of Ksar El Kébir for 2016, and a cooperation agreement with the National Railways Office to upgrade a specific pedestrian tunnel. The council also approved a cooperation agreement between the municipality, the Ministry of Health, and the Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma region for the creation of a health centre in the Oulad Hmid district, and a cooperation agreement with the delegation of the High Commission for Former Resistance Fighters and Former Members of the Liberation Army, in order to preserve the historical and civilisational heritage of the region.

Added to this is the approval of an agreement relating to the integrated programme for the tourist development of the cultural and handicraft product of the city of Ksar El Kébir, and the minutes of the administrative commission for the upgrading of the "Storia" theatre as a municipal theatre.
