The phosphate capital is the largest producer in the world. Ironically, a city that does not have buses, where horse-drawn carriages continue to invade the neighbourhoods (about 3,000 vehicles).
It is the city of pending projects par excellence. A city whose almost all officials boast of being sons of the soil, yet do nothing for it, except for the squandering of public funds.
A city where its children do not find public places to play. Its inhabitants consider that the weekly Sunday Souk is the only space to spend the weekend.
The only municipal swimming pool was closed in the middle of summer, in the heatwave, without shame and without anyone being held accountable. A city whose boulevards are all invaded by "Ferrachas" and street vendors who occupy public space, all considering themselves descendants of the Tunisian Mohamed El Bouazizi.
In the agenda of officials, at different levels, there is no development project, nothing other than the collection of money, capital flight, and tax evasion.
A city that has only had diseases, protests, sit-ins, and severe judgments from the riches of phosphate.
City of the seven pyramids, the seven "Amriaat", and the boats of death.
A city whose men pile up in cafes that grow like mushrooms; its women walk in the middle of the road, without a precise goal or destination, and its children fill the game and billiard rooms, for lack of places of distraction.
The only garden in Khouribga, built by the municipal council decades ago, has been transformed into condominium buildings. The officials grabbed the profits and left its occupants in darkness and thirst.
A city where necrosis has damaged the teeth of its children, silicosis the lungs of its workers, while its municipal presidents and their "bourgeois" wives boast of draining its coffers. A city without Italy would have been transformed into a ghost town and its inhabitants would have left it for the unknown.
After the vote on the administrative account of the municipal council of the phosphate capital, which is a capital in name only, what should we expect?

Vote on the municipality's administrative account
The municipal council of the city of Khouribga has 43 members. Only 19 voted for the administrative account, of which 11 rejected it, 10 from the PJD in the absence of a parliamentarian, and two abstentions. Regardless of this vote, the first and last loser is the city of Khouribga and its inhabitants.
