Faced with the unavailability of a good number of Chabab Atlas Khénifra players, following the road accident that saw the club's bus hit a vehicle on the way back from Al Hoceima, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has accepted the request of the affected team, which sees its match against RSB postponed by one week.
The 27th day of the national elite championship will finally be amputated of the match opposing Chabab Atlas Khénifra to Renaissance Sportive de Berkane, as announced by a statement from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation. The federal body has postponed said match by one week, setting the date of May 3 as the new appointment, still at 5 p.m. A decision that should relatively relieve the Zayanis, victims of a road accident last Monday while they were on their way back from Al Hoceima.
The club deplored some 29 injuries, including the club's goalkeeper who was severely hit and had to be operated on the head in Fez. Faced with the unavailability of several of these players, Chabab Atlas Khénifra had therefore sent a letter to the FRMF to reschedule the match against RSB, a request that was justified to say the least. Still in the fight to validate its stay in Elite 1, the CAK will have to dig deep into its resources to overcome the aftermath of this accident and negotiate well the four matches that remain for it.
