Oknawa Fès and Sadaka Bouknadal above the rest
After the Mohammed VI International Cup, Moroccan karatekas had a new opportunity to sharpen their weapons last weekend, in anticipation of the next African Cup of Nations. Organised by the Royal Moroccan Karate and Associated Disciplines Federation in partnership with the Meknès Atlas association, the 15th edition of the Throne Cup for Team Karate (Kata and Kumite) took place at the Khénifra sports hall on 21 and 22 June. The top step of the podium for men went to the Oknawa Fès Association of the Northern League, which was able to count on the liveliness of its karatekas to lift the trophy last Sunday. For the ladies, it was the Sadaka Bouknadal Association that stood out and was crowned champion.
