Al Akhawayn University, the first Moroccan university
The Australian "QS Ranking 2015 of the best Arab institutions" system, which is among the most renowned systems in its category, has ranked Al Akhawayn University as the first Moroccan university and the third in North Africa. This ranking, which saw the participation of nearly 2,500 employers and 3,700 academics, takes into account the level of the institution's staff, the proportion of academics with a doctorate, the number of research papers per faculty member and the number of citations per article, the proportions of international faculty and students, as well as the university's web impact.According to a statement from the University, nearly 260 institutions from 15 Arab countries were evaluated, and 100 of them appear in the ranking.
