Customs services in Essaouira proceeded, Tuesday, to the incineration of some 860 kg of narcotic and psychotropic products, seized in various operations conducted jointly with elements of the gendarmerie and police in the Essaouira province.

These are 848 kg of kif, 9.5 kg of chira, 20 packets of Maasselle, 11.5 litres of moonshine, and 8 boxes of psychotropic tablets, it is specified by the customs services.

The incineration of these products took place in the presence notably of a commission composed of representatives of the public prosecutor at the court of first instance of Essaouira, the Royal Gendarmerie, national security, customs, local authorities, health services, firefighters, and auxiliary forces.
