Mohamed Moubdii affirms his ministry's commitment to supporting regional actors in succeeding in the development process
The Minister in charge of Civil Service and Administration Modernisation, Mohamed Moubdii, affirmed, on Saturday in Errachidia, that his department is committed to accompanying and supporting regional actors with a view to succeeding in the development process in the Drâa-Tafilalet region.
Speaking during a regional meeting held under the banner "Administration modernisation and the responsibilities of the region's economic and social development", Mohamed Moubdii added that his ministry will spare no effort to support regional actors in achieving development objectives in this new region, expressing the hope that this meeting would constitute an opportunity to inaugurate a new era of global development at all levels and to build a region capable of meeting challenges.
In this context, the minister emphasised the need to combine the efforts of the Regional Council, territorial authorities, government departments, and the various components of civil society to support the strategic choice of advanced regionalisation.
The challenge today consists of consolidating the Morocco of institutions and putting political effort at the service of development efforts, said Mohamed Moubdii, recalling that his ministry has developed an integrated programme of well-studied reforms with precise objectives.
The Wali of the Drâa-Tafilalet region, Governor of the Errachidia province, Mohamed Fanid, stressed, for his part, that the implementation of the provisions of the Constitution, particularly those relating to advanced regionalisation, requires the establishment of legal mechanisms to increase the performance of the administration and improve its capacities, putting the emphasis on the need to moralise public service, support good governance, and improve the quality of services provided to users.
The President of the Regional Council, Habib Choubani, focused on the changes that Morocco is experiencing, particularly regarding the advanced regionalisation project, noting that the new Drâa-Tafilalet region, which is currently being built, needs a global action programme in order to overcome the challenges it faces.
