The Goldwing Club Maroc has carried out a large-scale operation in the El-Jadida region, distributing 280 wheelchairs and 80 pairs of crutches with the aim of facilitating the mobility of the disabled. The financing of the operation, which amounted to 300,000 DH, was set up thanks to the partnership with the energy operator Jorf Lasfar Energy Company (JLEC) and with the help of the province of El Jadida. The Goldwing Club Maroc has a multitude of social raids to its credit, travelling the length and breadth of Morocco. Thus, since 2005, the members of the Goldwing Club Maroc, loaded with several batches of donations (wheelchairs, youth centre equipment, toys for orphanages, glucometers, school computer equipment...), have been carrying out raids in all regions of Morocco and especially in remote places where life is often precarious, such as Rissani, Erfoud, Taroudant, Bouskoura, Ketama, Moulay Driss Zerhoune, Bine El Ouidane, Taza, Oujda... "The values that guide the Goldwing Club Maroc are based on several objectives, including that of giving of one's time and energy to allow a child to be schooled, to provide moral and material support to a disabled person, to develop action for the most vulnerable people, to contribute to the dissemination of humanitarian values to the greatest number of people," explain the organisers. On this occasion, the two great Moroccan artists Rachid El Ouali and Hamid El Kasri marked the event with their presence. But it should be noted that the club is supported in these social actions by the backing of several partners and relies on the mobility of its members and their voluntary commitment.
About the Goldwing Club Maroc
Created in 2005, the Goldwing Club Maroc, which brings together owners of a famous motorcycle brand, has as its main objective to organise events and Goldwing motorcycle raids in the Kingdom and abroad. However, under the impetus of its committed members, the Club has discovered a charitable vocation, due to the mobility of its troops and the frequent visits to several very remote regions. The Club's members are therefore committed to pursuing this civic vocation, by accompanying the proliferation of social initiatives that Morocco is experiencing.
