Pro Elite 1: The DHJ faces the tough test of the CRA

The eighth day of the Pro Elite 1 national football championship will continue today with the scheduling of the match that will pit the local Difaâ against Chabab Rif Al Hoceima at 3 p.m. at the El Abdi stadium in El Jadida, two teams that are coming off defeats against the same opponent, namely Wydad Casablanca.

A match of great importance for both clubs that occupy the middle of the table. The Jdidis, twelfth with a meagre haul of six points, find themselves called upon more than ever to rectify the situation, as they have so far only one victory, against three defeats and as many draws.

By playing at home, all the pressure of the match will weigh on the shoulders of the Jdidi players who will be keen to find the right rhythm, with a view to improving their ranking. A scenario that the Rifains, eighth with 9 points on the clock, will try by all means to abort in order to return home with at least a point from a draw.

The last match counting for this eighth round is to take place on Wednesday in the evening (8:00 p.m.) at the Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex and will pit the FUS against the WAC.

As a reminder, the ball for this day was opened on Saturday and the most prominent match was the one that had Renaissance Berkane and CODM Meknès as actors. The latter, coached by Youssef Lamrini, whose first outing it was, having succeeded Abderrahim Taleb who left for the RSB, won by a score of 4 to 3, with a special mention for the Meknassi Yassine Bayoud, author of a hat-trick.

Just like Lamrini, Abdelkader Youmir succeeded in his entry into the matter with the KAC. While waiting for his federal licence, Youmir coached his protégés from the stands, who signed their second victory of the season (1-0) at the expense of an OCK that still cannot find its cruising speed.

As for the MAS, it was content to ensure the essential, offering itself (1-0) outside its bases against Raja Béni Mellal, the bottom of the competition.

Note that due to the Throne Cup final, this day was cut by two matches postponed to a later date, namely RCA-MAT and WAF-FAR.
