After the success of a first edition, "Jawhara Talents" is back this year, thus offering the opportunity for new budding musicians to highlight their talents. This second edition, which will be held from 1 to 4 July on the El Breija stage in El Jadida, will bring, as usual, an air of joy and joviality to the city. Putting the youth of the province at the centre of its concerns, "Jawhara Talents" allows the most gifted among them to offer themselves a place on the music scene. For the organisers, Jawhara Talents is "conceived as a giant workshop open to all music lovers in the province of El Jadida, it thus contributes to the promotion of musical culture in Morocco and to unearthing the stars of tomorrow". If last year's edition was a frank success, this year's is even more promising in terms of surprises and diversity. This year, participants will have to compete in three musical genres. Rap-Hip Hop, Rock-Fusion and Chaâbi. Enough to enchant the most demanding audience. In their adventures, these talents will be supervised by a jury composed of music professionals. And these are none other than young artists whose talent has crossed borders. These are the essential voice of the Mazagan group Issam Kamal, Abdelaziz Stati, Hicham Abkari and Bouchaib Jdidi. To this are added the great ribab player Bouhssine Foulane, Mahmoud Bassou and Muslim. "At the end of the 3 days of competition on stage and in front of a large audience, the jury will decide between the groups in competition and will designate a winner by musical style. The grand winner will be rewarded with the recording of a single and a place on the Jawhara stage next year," specify the organisers. Note that the young people who won the prizes in the last edition are currently in the studio for the recording of new opuses produced by Jawhara. Other young musicians who will pass the test this year will certainly do the same. The latter must submit their complete files accompanied by a CD recording of a minimum of three tracks before Friday 15 June.
